This is a unique self-build detached 4-bed timberframe built in 2013-14.

It demonstrates envelope insualtion and Mechnical Ventilation Heat Recovery for ventilation.

You will also be able to see the:

  • triple-glazed windows
  • underfloor heating
  • thermal store for hot water
  • solar panels
  • smart tariff integration 

There is a full brochure attached below with lots of detail on the self-build process. 

The house has level access and 800mm wide doors downstairs for wheelchair access.  There is a downstairs toilet which is also wheelchair accessible.  Viewing most aspects and discussion will be downstairs or outside.  Viewing the heating system is upstairs and accessible by normal domestic oak stairs with handrail.  

There is parking along Church Lane and nearby, particularly on Aintree Drive where it connects with Church Lane for pedestrian access
